| VSOE ran a Mother's Day Northern Belle excursion from Crewe to Morecambe and return, via Liverpool where the train (top and tailed) called at Lime Street station after coming up from Crewe, before reversing to run outward towards Morecambe.
DB Schenker 67008 (not featured in the solitary photograph, but being mentioned for the record) and 67021 were in charge of this excursion. The train is seen on the outward run to Morecambe, and viewed from the bridge at Lea Green Road. Thanks to Yahoo Liverpool Rail for information beforehand.
