BR Class 50 diesel 50015 Valliant was scheduled to work the Saturday diesel diagram of the low season, on the East Lancashire Railway. I went along to have a bash, and to enjoy company and laughs with some good friends.
Steam was represented too, in the form of visiting BR Standard 4 tank 80098, and an Aveiling and Porter traction engine on the station forecourt at Rawtenstall!
