DRS Weekend at the Crewe Heritage Centre (16/05/2009)

Four locos from Direct Rail Services were on site at Crewe Heritage Centre on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2009. The locos were (in numerical order) 20314, 37682, 57003 and 66413.

All four locos were on display in the yard, and fired up at certain times of the day. Representing steam, were LMS pacifics 6201 Princess Elizabeth and 6233 Duchess of Sutherland, and GWR 2-8-0 tank 5224.

Supplementing the event, was the centre's usual attractions of Advance Passenger Train 370003, Class 47's D1824 and 47575, ex Virgin 87035 and various other items on display.
