| At 10:30 this morning (Saturday 19th September 2009), the DTG's Class 52 Western diesel D1015 Western Champion made a fifteen minute appearance at Chester, en route to Blaenau Ffestiniog with Pathfinder Tour's 'Western Slater' charter.
D1015 arrived at Chester to spend a fifteen minute layover before proceeding to Llandudno Junction (to run round for the trip down the Conwy Valley line); thrash and clag made for a spectacular departure! Also included, is Arriva Trains Wales 57315 on the (Saturday's only) London to Holyhead Virgin Pendolino Drag (390009 Treaty of Union being the unit). |
